Dazzling Diva Challenge #49

Hi there and happy Wednesday! How is your week going so far? I had a really funny night last night - me, my husband and two of our friends went to 'Scream Acres', you probably know the kind of thing... walk around a creepy place (somewhat like a scary fun house) and scary guys and gals in frightening costumes jump out and scare you silly. I haven't laughed so much in a long while and look forward to doing it again next year. Have you ever had this kind of experience ? What did you think? Scary or funny?

Today is Wednesday so that means a new challenge is starting over at Add A Little Dazzle....

This week we are asking that you make a project inspired by this image. I have taken the wood, flowers  and colours as my inspiration...

For the stamped images and sentiment I have used Wplus9 'Happy Harvest' stamps and dies. I just love that by having the dies you can add lots of things to the wheel barrow with no masking.

For the 'sending' part of the sentiment I have used a die from the Lil Inkers 'Sending You' dies cut from Glimmering Gold Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal .

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I'm also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon.

Colour Combo At Loves Rubberstamps

Hi there and happy Tuesday! Sorry I'm a bit late with this post today but I actually forgot it was Tuesday... with the little ones being off school I always seem to forget where we are in the week! How about you .. do you do this ... especially when on holiday the days just seem to not matter anymore, don't they?

Today starts a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps Challenges , this weeks challenge is a colour combo - 'Purple, Orange, White and Black'- perfect for Halloween but could be used for projects for different occasions just the same.

How cute are those little bats?!?!? They are from Lawn Fawn- Spookatular. Ihave stamped them onto Neenah Solar White Card and then coloured with Copic Markers.

I love white space on a Clean and Simple card, but you can actually have layers on a CAS design if you keep all the layers the same colour- here I have kept my layers white and only added colour to my focal point so it draws to eye in.

I would really love to know what you think of my card and video! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I'm also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon.

Miss You Grid Card

Hi there stampers! Hope your Monday is going well. I seem to be quite productive today with magazine write ups and such. How come some days you can do so much and other days the hours seem to fly by with nothing to show for it at the end of the day?

Today I'm sharing with you a card I have made for the Mama Elephant and Me Anything Goes Challenge...

I have used one of my favourite sets 'In My Heart' to create this grid like design.

Santa Watching....

Hi there stampers and a very happy Friday to you! Hope you have had a great week and have a fun weekend planned.

Today I have a card to share with you using one of the awesomely cute sets from Newton's Nook 'Newton's Curious Christmas'...

Just how cute is this image of Newton on the rooftop watching Santa fly by in his sleigh?!?!

I created the background using Distress Markers and water before stamping the image over the top. I took the colour away from the moon using clean water and a paper towel before adding silver mica and stickles to it.

I stamped Newton on to a separate piece of card, coloured with Copics and fussy cut out before adding to the scene.

The stitched layer is the smaller of the Mama Elephant Femme Frames which can be found in the Basics Set .

I just want to say that there is a new Inky Paws Challenge over on the Newton's Nook Blog today.... the theme is 'Sparkle', so grab your Newton's Nook stamps and glitter and join in on the fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Embossing Paste Snow Shaker Card- Video

Yay it's Friday! I so so love Fridays.. not that it makes a big difference on the amount of lay-in time being a Mum but it does make a difference in the rushing around in the morning. Plus my babies are not in school next week and a love having them off :)

Did you see that Lawnscaping Challenges are having a DT for their Facebook Inspiration Team? There are so many gorgeous entries already there and I really wanted to throw my hat into the ring as I would love to be a part of the FIT team so I created a card with a video.

I so love how having the other layers of the card plain white draws the eye into the focal point of the card. Also that the sequins in the shaker stay at the top of the hill is so very cute and I will most definitely be doing shakers like this again.

I think it is so great the way that Lawn Fawn size their sets... the way that critters and accessories from different sets work with each other is just so clever :) As here the bear from 'Love You S'more' is wearing the hat from 'Critters From The Arctic' and scarf from 'Snow Day'.

There is something amazingly classic about the black, white and red colour combo and I love that is can work for both girl and guy cards.

I have used two of the fabulous Cas-ual Fridays stamp sets on this- Houndstooth (for the top patterned part) and Loving Thoughts ( for the bold and brilliant sentiment). I then added strips of Black Diamond and Scarlett Red Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal . For the hearts I die cut the heart shape from the Shuffle Fri-Dies die set, added some Scarlett Red Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal behind and gently moulded the metal outwards to form rounded hearts.

White On White Embossed Vellum- Newton's Nook Post

Hi there and happy Thursday! Whoop nearly Friday .... just one more early wake up and the little ones have a week off school. Don't you just love when the kids are off school? I do, I totally love having my mini-mes at home, lots of crafty time with them next week :D

Today I'm sharing with you a card I have over on the Newton's Nook blog....

I have used two of the awesome Holiday Release sets on this white-on-white Christmas card.

If you are a follower of my blog you know that I love love love the tiny (sometimes over-looked) stamps on a stamp set! Especially to create backgrounds.... I have used the cute little holly stamp from the Special Delivery set to make the holly background - I heat embossed it repeatedly with white embossing powder on to vellum to create this soft and elegant look.

The sentiment is from the Flaky Family set- I adore this sentiment and it is one that can be used all year round and for many different occasions.

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I'm also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Monster Family Fun

Hello and a very happy Monday! I do hope you have had a great weekend.

As I mentioned Friday I went to a Murder Mystery with my Mum and I have to tell you how fun it was. It was my first one so I didn't know what to expect .. it was very 'odd' but so nice to spend time with my Mum. I think we will be doing it again, if only for a break.

It seems that there seems to be a little trend for cute little monsters.. I have to say that I am love love loving the 'Monster Mash' set from Sweet Stamp Shop!

I have created little snap-shots of my own family... and yes Will always looks that angry LOL!

These cute monster images could be used for lots of fun cards and occasions. And would be great for little boys cards.
